The Accra High Court has for the second time ordered Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, to appear in court to prove the reason why he should not be held in contempt.
Mr. Agyapong, who allegedly described the High Court Judge, Judge Amos Wuntah Wuni, as “stupid”, did not appear in court today.
His lawyers filed a request that Agyapong did not personally receive the first order of September 9, 2020 to appear in court.
This prompted Judge Wuni to order a substitute service for the MP to appear in court on Friday, September 18, 2020.
According to the court order, the summons to Mr. Agyapong must be posted on the court notice board and on the premises of Oman Fm and Net 2 TV.
