Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the deputy for Assin Central has alleged that the opposition NDC is behind the recent highway robberies.
He claimed to have intercepted NDC documents suggesting that the NDC will sponsor robberies to create tension, instill fear in people, attack the people of Ghana unnecessarily, beat the people of Ghana and organize demonstrations before, during and after the elections of the December 7th.
“A stalwart Fulani rebel named Jallo Nagyinam has been hired to attack and rob only on the roads and to frustrate people on the road to push the agenda of anarchy, so that there are frequent problems on the roads that generate fear and panic. on the roads, “Kennedy Agyepong claimed to read from the alleged document when he spoke on Net 2 TV Monday night. He did not give a copy to the host to read, nor was the document displayed on screens.
In addition, he alleged that a Fulani suspect charged with the murder of Ekow Quansah Hayford, Mfantseman’s immediate past MP, had the cell phone of the murdered MP when he was arrested.
“When [the suspect was] asked where he got the phone from, [the suspect] he said, he bought the phone from someone who is also a Fulani. A robbery that has occurred on Walewale Highway was orchestrated by the Fulani [people]… ”Agyapong alleged.
He urged his current NPP to take it seriously because all the intelligence he’s getting shows that “NDC is operating it ditto ditto and NPP is practicing a democracy that Jesus and his disciples did not practice.”
He explained that under the current PNP administration, some members of the PNP in the Asunafo Sur electoral district have been shot and nothing has been done to the culprits.
“When we were in the opposition, they beat us, in the government they also beat us … how can we get party members to be vigilant in the polling stations on election day?” He asked himself. “No action has been taken and they are still in the constituency roaming with impunity.”
Kennedy Agyapong noted that he had been broadcasting the alleged NDC plans on his television network since April and everything he has said is unfolding.
“The worst is yet to come in November… what kind of democracy are we practicing, no arrests, nothing. If it was Kennedy Agyapong, the party members will say that he should be arrested because they say I want to be president … because they are not his children, the party leaders and the government don’t care … ”Kennedy Agyapong declared angrily.
He warned that the PNP should forget about winning the election if party members are unsure of their safety.
“How can we be in power and intimidated by an opposition party?” he snapped.
“They told us in 2008 that no [was] a flaw in security and still reliant on security, wow! You don’t learn… NPP we don’t learn. They [NDC] check security every minute, ”alleged the frustrated Kennedy Agyapong.
