🔴 Keane: Arsenal players are too soft

Arsenal’s loss to Wolves on Sunday night has prompted an avalanche of criticism from fans, as well as Manchester United outspoken legend Roy Keane.

The Gunners hosted the Wolves where Pedro Neto opened the scoring for the visitors, but Gabiel’s draw was not enough as the Wolves found the winner through Daniel Podence in the 42nd minute.

The result confirmed Arsenal’s worst start in 22 years with 13 points from 10 league games.

“I think a lot of the players are not good enough, I think there is some softness,” Roy Keane told Sky Sports.

“A few weeks ago all the cheerleaders were out when they had a decent performance at United. They’ve had a point since then, they lost the other two games.

“I think they look soft. They probably lack a bit of confidence. I didn’t see that actual fight the manager was talking about. I didn’t see that desire and determination to get a result.”

“Of course, you can have a night off, but you still find a way to get a result.

“Right now I don’t see him with this group of players. I think they look a bit soft, ”concluded the Man United legend.

Next up for Mikel Arteta’s side is a UEFA Europa League tie against Rapid Wien on Thursday.
