A new twist on Paul Pogba’s Manchester United crisis could see Cristiano Ronaldo make a sensational return to Old Trafford.
The Frenchman has found himself in limbo at United after his agent Mino Raiola recently made it public that his time at Old Trafford was over.
Pogba has made no secret of his wishes to leave United, and it has now emerged that a return to Juventus may be on the cards, in a change that would spark Ronaldo’s emotional return.
According to the Independent’s soccer editor in chief Miguel Delaney, Juve is serious about capitalizing on the Pogba riots and a trade deal for Ronaldo is not entirely out of the question.
Speaking on the Football Ramble show, he said: “ Talking to people during the week because I’ve been doing something about the Paul Pogba situation, which is related to Ronaldo, and the fact that Juventus might be interested in a trade.

Ronaldo is now 35 years old and by far the top earner at Juventus, believed to earn around £ 30 million a year.
The Serie A giants are mindful of cutting their salary expense as they build for the future with new coach Andrea Pirlo, and are also said to be planning a more balanced style of soccer for years to come.
