One of the most prominent names rumored to be on the move is Thomas Partey, who has a contract with Atlético de Madrid.

If Arteta landed Partey, that could provide a platform for Héctor Bellerin and Kieran Tierney to play roles similar to Alexander-Arnold and Robertson, with enough government in the middle of the park to retain overall balance.
The Ghanaian is very defensively active in La Liga, while exhibiting possession competition that would allow him to contribute to dominant possession-based teams.
Some 36 central midfielders have accumulated more than 1,500 minutes in the Spanish top flight this season, with Partey in ninth place for interceptions by 90 and 14 for defensive duels by 90.
Those numbers may be affected by the stylistic nature of his team under Diego Simeone, but regardless, Partey has the profile of a midfielder who is the best when acting as a solid base for his teammates.
He is 6 feet tall, strong, assertive, mobile enough to cover the ground, and his decisions on the ball are often smart. He rarely makes mistakes.
No one knows what is likely to happen in the coming months, but if Partey were to announce himself as a new player in the Emirates, a tactical framework similar to that of Liverpool could materialize.
