Jurgen Klopp was reportedly “reassured” about the Premier League’s desire to return to action next month.
Premier League clubs have been preparing to re-train for the past few weeks, and the UK government gave them the green light earlier this week.
Concerns remain about the safety of those returning to training, but Klopp is said to feel “calm” that the league is following a correct and strict protocol.
As reported by The Athletic, Klopp was involved in a managers meeting with the other 19 high-flying bosses on Wednesday.
During the expanded meeting, Klopp expressed his satisfaction with the plans established regarding the return of the soccer balls.
As things stand, the Premier League is considering the teams’ return to training as just one step towards a possible restart of the campaign.

Klopp is eager to resume the season with Liverpool at the top of the table and get closer to the title, but his main focus is to do so in the interests of sporting integrity, rather than his team’s own success.
A June 12 date has been suggested for the campaign to start again, which would not meet managers’ requirements regarding a deadline.
All bosses have requested a minimum of four weeks to work with their players in training before the season begins, but that date may be subject to change.
Players have been completing individual workouts at home during the running of the bulls to keep fit, but will now go through an intense mini preseason version.
Social distancing guidelines have yet to be followed until further notice from the government, as training will initially only involve small group work when allowed, before moving on to larger groups.
A key component yet to be determined before soccer matches can return is whether neutral locations will be used.
The Merseyside Police have indicated that they are ready and happy to follow the national leadership in police combat policy.
Mark Roberts, head of the UK’s national police football soccer unit, revealed on Tuesday that there were “positive” conversations about clubs playing in their own stadiums, indicating that it will be possible if he does not put pressure on the emergency services. .
