The independent parliamentary candidate for the Tarkwa-Nsuaem constituency, Madam Joycelyn Andoh, has launched her manifesto at a white event in the Conference Hall of St. Matthew Catholic Parish in Tarkwa.

Supporters and party loyalists at the launch were spotted wearing white clothing on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, a dress code that supporters say signifies the landslide victory in the 2020 parliamentary elections in the Tarkwa Nsuaem constituency.

The folded manifesto; Transforming lives, transforming Tarkwa Nsuaem is found in seven subject areas, including education, health and sanitation, agriculture, commerce and industry, infrastructure, tourism and sports.

In her short presentation to reveal her motivation to compete in the Tarkwa Nsuaem constituency as a Member of Parliament, Joyceline Andoh explained that her decision is to respond to the youth’s cry for decent jobs that is not receiving attention under the current leadership.

Another is supporting market women to improve their livelihoods and for Tarkwa to regain its rightful place as a peaceful and auspicious paradise in Ghana.

Education

Establish a scholarship scheme to help several bright but needy graduates from the constituency.

Institute of awards and recognition scheme to reward outstanding teachers of public and private schools within the constituency

Organize a quiz contest to improve targeted basic education, particularly secondary schools to bring out the best in them.

Health and sanitation

Expand the capacity of the Tarkwa Midwifery Training School to become a full-fledged multidisciplinary nursing training faculty.

Join the Keep Keep Tarkwa Nsuaem clean campaign and distribute free trash cans to every community in your constituency to enhance your constituency’s garbage collection efforts.

farming

Collaborate with the Ghana Cocoa Board to facilitate the equitable sharing of cocoa routes in the constituency to improve the free movement of people and goods throughout the year.

Institute a local farmer awards scheme to recognize and reward outstanding farmers in the constituency for propping up farming as an attractive alternative livelihood to mining.

Establish a market day for Tarkwa to boost trade and improve livelihoods.

Commerce and Industry

Institute a small loan and credit scheme dedicated to advancing small loans to the economically active poor in the various communities of the constituency.

Establish a taxi work and payment plan to assist taxi drivers who do not own their own vehicles, as well as young people who are willing and eager to earn a living by driving.

Establish a Unit dedicated to facilitating artisanal and small-scale mining licenses.

Infrastructure development

Embark on the renovation of Tarkwa Nsuaem in an ultra-modern multipurpose building.

Provide public lighting to the communities with the help of the Municipal Assembly.

Lobby the Minister of Roads and Highways and the Department of Urban Roads to prioritize Tarkwa roads.

tourism

Work closely with the Minister of Tourism, the Municipal Assembly, and traditional authorities to improve the infrastructure in the various historical and natural sites in the constituency.

sports

Mobilize funds to promote grassroots development through the colts system and support divisions 2 and 3 leagues to discover talent in the constituency.

Ms. Joy Joyceline Andoh urged all voters to do their best to vote for her on December 7, in order to become a Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem.
