Joyce Blessing with her husband in the past
Dave Joy, Joyce Blessing’s husband, launched a scathing attack on Kwasi Ernest for a comment the former executive producer relayed about the uproar between the gospel musician and his former publicist Jullie Jay-Kanz.
Kwasi Ernest, head of Media Excel, speaking in the Peace FM Entertainment Review on Saturday, was appalled by the apparently unflappable stance of the leadership of the Creative Arts Council, the Ghana Musicians Union and other bodies regarding the dispute between his former artist Joyce Blessing and Jullie Jay-Kanz.
He claimed that the fight between the gospel musician and his former publicist could be resolved amicably if the aforementioned personalities and other prominent personalities showed great interest.
He expressed dissatisfaction with the escalation of the problem and was unhappy with how Joyce Blessing’s husband and Jullie Jay-Kanz denied him access to their social media accounts.
Kwasi’s comments elicited a reaction from Dave Joy as he fumed with rage.
“Have you ever called me about this? Why then do you sit on the radio and talk like that? Tell the whole world if you’ve called me about this matter. You don’t like my wife more than me. Children. with her, so don’t paint that picture, “said Dave Joy angrily.
“I respect you very much; do not pressure me because you are to blame for all this. If you had called Joyce and me, the matter would already be resolved. You would prefer to call only Joyce. Do not throw dust in the public eyes. I am disappointed in you “added Dave Joy.
To solidify his point, Dave recounted having an interaction with Kwasi Ernest in the early stages of marital problems and mentioned that the latter promised to call him but never did.
“You met Jullie Jay and cursed her. You said you would ‘mob’ her. She’s on my phone. You threatened the lady that you would end her life. Why are you taking sides?” Dave Joy wondered.
In rebuttal, Kwasi Ernest could not understand why he should be blamed for the misfortune.
“I don’t see why they should blame me. But I take the blame because it was through me that Joyce Blessing because Joyce Blessing. If I had produced someone else or used my resources for something else, no one would have blamed me for anything. … Kwasi Ernest said.
The back and forth comes after Joyce Blessing cursed Jay-Kanz for allegedly thwarting her progress despite making and subsequently receiving demands. The singer accused Jay-Kanz of being behind the reason why his content continues to be flagged on YouTube and Instagram and warned him to desist from the act or face the wrath of God.
“Juliana Ntiamoah, that is your name, the way you are going to suffer, it will affect your entire generation. I haven’t done anything wrong to you, everything you asked for has been paid for. This curse will manifest itself to a great extent in your life because I have not done anything wrong to you, but you want to cause me pain … “, he said in the audio.
Meanwhile, Dave Joy has said that he has not given Joyce Blessing social media credentials because she has denied him access to her children.
