Aduana Stars forward Yahaya Mohammed implored Joseph Esso to apologize to the Hearts of Oak hierarchy.

Esso, 24, was one of five players who failed to renew his contract with the club.

The forward who joined the Phobians in 2017 has joined Ghana’s Premier League team Dreams FC on a two-year deal.

But according to the former Asante striker Kotoko, the way Esso left the club is unacceptable and he must again apologize to the club.

“My only advice to Joseph Esso is to apologize to Hearts of Oak management and the fans for refusing to renew his contract,” he said. Asempa FM.

“Joseph Esso’s move from Hearts of Oak is a huge mistake. You don’t leave such a big club that way.

“He is a good player, but I don’t like the way his management is handling problems. I think they could have sat down and settled the contract but leaving such a big club like that is unacceptable, “he added.

Esso played 14 games and scored three times in the Premier League last season.

He was among Ghana’s best players at the 2019 Wafu Cup of Nations in Senegal, where he scored twice to help the team finish as runners-up.
