Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has underlined that the NDC’s track record under the leadership of John Mahama clearly demonstrates the NDC standard bearer’s ability to work with all Ghanaians to improve livelihoods and development.

Interacting with the chiefs and people of the Central Region during a tour of the region, Professor Opoku-Agyemang reminded them of the development agenda that Mahama followed during his administration and highlighted the fact that elections are about development. .

He said electoral elections are based on the ability to effectively lead and implement a clear development agenda for the country. Therefore, voting for John Dramani Mahama should be the obvious choice.

He said former President Mahama has a proven track record of delivering on his promises and will follow through on the programs outlined in the NDC Manifesto; the “Manifesto of the People”.

He added that the “People’s Manifesto” programs are designed to meet the needs of all segments of Ghanaian society.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang reiterated the NDC’s undisputed track record of ensuring the equitable distribution of the country’s resources among the various administrative areas of the country.

He stressed the need for peace before, during and after the December 7 elections. In connection with this, he asked young people not to let themselves be used by politicians to create confusion in the voting centers during the December elections.
