Actor and NDC parliamentary candidate John Dumelo and filmmaker Socrates Safo
Ghanaian filmmaker and staunch member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Socrates Safo, has undermined the competence of aspiring NDC MP, John Dumelo.
The Director of Creative Arts of the National Commission of Culture (NCC) in a post seen by Zionfelix.net on Facebook said that a naive John Dumelo cannot be the leader of an electorate.
He could not understand why the Ayawaso West Wuogon NDC parliamentary candidate would point the finger at NPP for selling Ghana Films Industry Corporation.
He wrote: “A film actor in Ghana who says the NPP sold Ghana Films Industry Corporation is not competent to lead a constituency.”
John Dumelo’s comment on the sale of Ghana Films Industry Corporation was made on UTV’s United Showbiz when he recently appeared on the show hosted by Nana Ama McBrown.
