The two main parties in Ghana over the years, by convention, have largely chosen presidential candidates and their vice-presidential candidates from different parts of the country. This is to keep us together so that no group feels left out. But it is a significant recognition of our diversity. Diversity offers better decision making.

NDC flag bearer John Dramani Mahama understands this better than his main opponent. And what better way to show it! She has given the nation the accomplished woman teacher Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang in recognition of the fact that with diversity (male / female ticket) comes better decision making.

We at NDC have to constantly insist on this point to remember the distinction between the decisions that Ghanaians will make on December 7th.

December 7 offers Ghanaians a choice between what the PNP offers: more of the same lawlessness, levels of corruption never seen before, more of the same disrespect for press freedom and the rule of law, gross nepotism. , more of the same betrayal of the majority by a few and the lamentable ignorance shown by some of those appointed by the incumbent president; and what the NDC offers: real and sustainable jobs for Ghanaian youth, good governance, superior management of the economy, opportunities for many and not a few, delivering strong infrastructure and protecting Ghanaians.

Ghanaians cry out for leadership. Everything was handed over to the nuclear power plant and everything that was given to them has been wasted or ruined. Here are some examples of how everything was given to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and how she has wasted or ruined what was given to her.

1. The prices of gold, oil and cocoa in the international market were much better compared to 2017 than in previous years and it translates into more government revenue that the PNP has nothing to show for.

2. EDAIF, which is now Ghana Exim Bank, was created under the NDC. Unfortunately, the NPP is dissipating funds from the Ghana Exim bank;

3. The National Youth Authority in its almost 50 years of existence never had a guaranteed source of financing to facilitate Youth Development. That changed with John Mahama when the government promoted the NYA bill that was signed into law by Parliament and passed by President Mahama in December 2016. Sadly, again, the millions of CDs earmarked for development are being misappropriated or wasted. youth.

4. The lack of transparency and responsibility in the use of the Heritage Fund. They have just taken us from BOOM to BUST.

Upon taking office on January 7, a special audit should be ordered on all activities of all public boards and corporations, since 2017, especially the Ghana Exim Bank, the National Youth Authority, MASLOC, the Free Zones Authority from Ghana, BOST, and others that have been used to facilitate the never-before-seen corruption that we are witnessing today.

Choosing the #JohnAndJane ticket will provide that leadership the country is crying for and provide the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Ghanaians.
