Newcastle United will reportedly join the race for sidelined Real Madrid James Rodriguez.
With the Magpies in charge of a Saudi-backed consortium, many big names have been linked to a move to St James’ Park. In fact, it felt like a matter of time before the Colombian’s name joined that list.
Now, according to Caracol and Goal, Rodríguez is on the radar of potential new Newcastle owners.

The aim is to report much the same, suggesting that Newcastle is investigating a possible deal, but that Real Madrid is more likely to want a fee in the region of € 40m (£ 35m).
