Burna Boy has finally reacted to the #EndSARS protest for which he has been called by some users of social networks.

The singer in his open letter stated that he decided to keep quiet for a while to collect his thoughts. Burna Boy, who noted that Nigeria is complicated, expressed fear that SARS will morph into a different entity with a different shape and a different name.

He added that the main problem against SARS is profiling and this needs to be addressed by authorities. Burna Boy went on to list several ways in which he will show his commitment to the #EndSARS protest and insisted that he has always been fighting for Nigerians.

He wrote;

It has been a problem, it is still a problem. innocent people killed and unfairly profiled by the people of our own country.

I have ALWAYS been here fighting for my people anyway and anywhere that can bring genuine progress and not for any political gain, praise or public validation. I’ve been tweeting, talking, and singing for years, I’m glad everyone now sees the need to do more. So let’s do that, each of us, in our own way.
