The veteran Ghanaian musician from Hiplife Tic, formerly known as Tic Tac, has opined that it is not a guarantee that all musicians are rich.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanaian journalist and blogger Attractive Mustapha, he said that all human beings can go bankrupt, so being broke or rich should not be limited to musicians.

In addition, he affirmed that life is not about being rich, poor or belonging to the middle class.

“There are doctors and journalists who are bankrupt, it is about human management, sometimes it is not your fault to be bankrupt, you can have bad luck but sometimes you can also succeed through music as a musician.”

He went on to say, “For me, it bothers me when people laugh at some Ghanaian musicians for being broke, I worry because there are great musicians all over the world who didn’t get rich.”

TicTac further stated that the great thing about making music is that at any moment musicians can transform and embrace creativity to set a new tone and get rich.

“Some musicians may be just creators, but not entrepreneurs, and all they know how to do is music, so they may need entrepreneurs as managers to help build wealth from their talent.” he told the handsome Mustapha.

He regretted that he hates that people always want to talk about making money from music, because for him, being successful as a musician and celebrated for your good works is the most important thing and not just the monetary aspect.
