President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said he expects overwhelming support on December 7 to continue another four-year term to do more for Ghanaians.
At the end of his two-day campaign tour of the Eastern Region, the president said he was impressed with the large crowd that greeted him in all the villages he visited, especially in the Krobo communities.
“What I have seen today has fulfilled my hope that together we will make history on December 7,” he said.
Addressing separate small rallies in Atimpoku, Odumase, Somanya and Koforidua on the last day of his tour, he said that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) had shown that it had the blueprint for Ghana’s development and that it would come to fruition in his second term. .
He said that the Government had met the expectations of the Ghanaians and therefore hoped that the electorate would give it another resounding victory at the polls to consolidate the gains made.
President Akufo-Addo indicated that the renewal of his mandate meant a massive transformation for the people of Ghana and begged them to come out in numbers to vote for the Party, as testimony of their unwavering support.
In Atimpoku, Odumase, and Somanya, President Akufo-Addo told the large crowd of supporters that the NDC’s negative propaganda about its dislike for Krobos was false and that the massive development of infrastructure in every part of the country should change their perception about the PNP.
“Ghanaians look for leadership that brings progress and prosperity to Ghana and not false claims,” he said.
He called on the region’s electorate to evaluate his performance over the past four years and endorse him for another term because he had been sincere with Ghanaians and kept all the promises he made in 2016.
