The Berekum Manhene added that beyond fulfilling its commitment to the people of Berekum, the government of Akufo-Addo deserves praise for its great initiatives for the people of Ghana.

While expressing the gratitude of his people, the Berekum Manhene called on the government to establish a technical and vocational school in the area to help train people.
He said that during their younger days in Germany, Germans embarked on massive technical and vocational training after WWII, and that helped make Germany a renowned industrial country.
He said Ghana can replicate that to complement the government’s industrialization agenda.
Vice President Bawumia thanked the people of Berekum for their support and assured that the Akufo-Addo government will continue with its comprehensive agenda of extending development to all parts of the country.
For the Berekum Municipality, Dr. Bawumia said the 10-kilometer Synohydro Berekum city center roads will increase the total kilometer of roads that the Akufo-Addo government is building and rehabilitating for the Berekum city roads. .
