Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored two goals in three minutes as AC Milan beat rival Inter to maintain their winning start to the Serie A season.
The 39-year-old tapped to open the scoring after Samir Handanovic saved his penalty and did so two moments after a clever cross from Rafael Leao.
Romelu Lukaku slashed a goal for Inter before half an hour and was denied a penalty in the second half.
AC Milan held on to achieve four wins out of four and stay at the top of the table.
Some 1,000 fans were able to enter the San Siro when Ibrahimovic returned to AC Milan after a period of isolation following his positive test for Covid-19.
The former Swedish striker immediately picked up where he left off in September, raising his tally to four goals in two Serie A games.
He won a penalty in the 13th minute and was alert to finish off on the rebound after Handanovic saved his first attempt, leading a second shortly after.
Inter striker Lukaku returned home on a low pitch from Ivan Perisic and almost leveled before the break when his header narrowly fell from a corner.
The Belgian also saw a penalty decision overturned by the video assistant referee after he was apparently brought down by goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Lukaku’s goal in the first half was AC Milan’s first goal in the league this season and they remain the team in the form of Italy, despite not having won a major trophy since 2011.
Stefano Pioli’s team is now undefeated in 20 games in all competitions, having finished last season with nine wins and three draws in its last 12 matches.
