Aubameyang opens up about Spurs defeat
Last weekend, Arsenal fell 2-0 to north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, and captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted his sadness after the loss.
Two first-half goals from Son Heung-min and Harry Kane were enough for the Spurs as the Gunners were beaten despite having most of the ball.
“You know, after games like Wolves or Tottenham, I’m sure we’re all frustrated by how they did and the results we got. I’m the first man, the captain, so of course I’ll be positive, but I’m a human being Aubameyang said.
“I was sad, to tell the truth, I was sad after the last game because I think the most important thing is to know that we can do better and we have to do better.
“I was frustrated, but I know this is my job now: to turn things around, keep it positive and always bring the good vibes to training camp.”

Wright names transfer decision that left him ‘devastated’
Ian Wright has admitted that Arsenal’s decision to sell goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to Aston Villa in the summer left him ‘devastated’.
Martinez signed for Villa in a deal worth around £ 17 million, but Gunners legend Wright believes his former club may have been wrong.
“I was devastated to see him leave Arsenal, but he wants to be Argentina’s number one,” the former Arsenal striker told BBC Sport.
“He has five clean sheets in nine Premier League games and he’s a very good goalkeeper. He’s done brilliantly at Villa and he’s helping them win games.”
