Former central regional minister Ama Benyiwa-Doe praised the leadership of former president Mahama as the NDC prepares for the 2020 elections.

According to the party’s sole national organizer, the former president has shown a strong unifying character after winning the party’s flag bearer position.

Ms Ama Benyiwa-Doe related this following allegations by some elements of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that the NDC and John Dramani Mahama as their leader have neglected the brand’s only female organizer.

Speaking on Pampaso, a political talk show on Radiogold905.com, Ama Benyiwa-Doe said, Mahama was always in contact with her during her situation, contrary to claims that the former president neglected her in her sick bed. She said that John Mahama personally visited her at home.

“I was an ordinary member of the party, but John Mahama never took me for granted. Occasionally he would send me something.

She placed her trust in the former president, declaring that he has what it takes to annex the presidency again considering the lackluster performance of the administration led by Nana Akuffo Addo.

He noted that the ex-president’s footprints are scattered across the breath and length of the country in terms of socioeconomic development.

This emphasized that it will result in the necessary votes for John Dramani Mahama to secure the presidency.

Commenting on what he will do specifically to guarantee the victory of the NDC in the next elections, he said in good health, he will be in the trenches to obtain the necessary votes for the party.
