The deputy general secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (PNP), Obiri Boahen, has bitterly complained that his party has not appointed him to the boards of directors of the country’s institutions.

He questioned the number of people from the core of the party who have been appointed to the boards of directors of institutions in the country despite the fact that the PNP is in power.

He said, sometimes silence is golden when something goes wrong, and you talk, they see you as a talker.

He was reacting to the appointment of Mr. Asiedu Nketia as a Board member of the Parliamentary Services Board.

For him, the appointment is not bad, but it is a wake-up call for the nuclear power plant.

“The NDC in opposition But look where is Asiedu Nketia of the NDC. When you speak, they see you as talkative. Since 2017, I have not been nominated for any board. When you speak, they attack you. So I have kept silent. Yes Asiedu Nketia has been appointed, the question is if he’s qualified, if he’s qualified, so be it. We shouldn’t look at him from the point of view that he’s the NDC secretary. If we do, we’ll be wrong. But it should be a call. of attention for the nuclear power plant ”, he postulated.

He said Kennedy Agyapong has been complaining about these problems, but they continue to happen.

“All these things that are happening is a wake-up call for the PNP as a party. We are in power, but they have appointed a secretary general of the NDC for a delicate position,” he concluded.
