Musician Kaphun has vehemently denied being involved in the incident that led to the stabbing death of a Cape Coast-based dancehall artist, Emmanuel Aikins, 28, known in music circles as ‘Unrully Crank’ on Cape Coast. on Sunday.
According to Kaphun’s management, Hunta Production, Kaphun has moved from Cape Coast to Accra permanently since signing with the label, noting that said individual who was allegedly involved in the alleged action was not an employee of Kaphun.
“It has become necessary for this release because the act is criminal and we will not tolerate it. We also want to correct any erroneous impressions that may be created in the minds of the general public as a result of these media reports, ”said a statement signed by Christian Borquaye, CEO of Hunta Production.
He added: “This false information that is circulating is highly damning, defamatory and causes great harm to the Kaphun brand and other legitimate business interests.”
The leadership noted that it will be respectful of the law and allow the police and their associates to continue their investigation and also calls on fans and the public to remain calm and allow the law to take its course.
