The Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has sent a strong warning to the former National Security Coordinator of the previous government of the Democratic National Congress (NDC), Colonel Gbevlo Lartey, to desist from any action that undermines the peace of the country. .
He said he has a leaked audio recording of Gbevlo Lartey allegedly planning to disturb the peace of the country.
“Try anything fun in this country, and let’s see who dies first.”
According to the loudmouth politician, Gbevlo Lartey is alleged to have said in the leaked audio that the battle has just begun and the revolution has just begun.
The Honorable Kennedy Agyapong, who was outraged by the alleged comments on the audio, stated: “Ghana is a beautiful country and we will not allow anyone to destroy this country for us.”
Speaking to Kwaku Annan on the ‘Seat Show’ on his Net2 TV on Monday December 14, 2020, the deputy from Assin Central advises Ghanaians “to be careful not to believe in the diabolical plans of a few greedy people in Ghana “.
He added that, “if someone comes to tell you to go out and misbehave or cause a problem, ask those people to allow their children to join in and that they should also lead the fight.”
Mr. Agyapong claimed that in all the diabolical plans of the NDC, “You find Akamba and Baba Jamal. Baba, you are my friend but, if you try to threaten the peace of Ghana, we will see if you are a friend or not.”
The legislator stressed that the NDC’s modus operandi to disrupt our peaceful country will fail. “Ghanaians must be sure that Nana Akufo-Addo will protect the country so that Ghanaians can carry out their normal tasks.”
