Jullie Jay-Kanz, the former publicist for Joyce Blessing, has denied sabotaging the gospel musician, but admitted to filing a copyright claim against him.
The blogger who worked as the musician’s publicist for about three years suggested in an interview with Abrantepa that he acted in retaliation.
According to Jay-Kanz, he financed an event for Joyce Blessing during their employment relationship. However, a short video that he filmed of said event was marked and uploaded to his platform after their relationship soured because the musician filed a lawsuit against him.
“It lacks a bit of knowledge about the digital space. She is rather the one who calls my content on YouTube. The content I took from an event that we all host, generated 80% revenue for that event … She hasn’t removed these videos on other platforms, so why remove mine? “he asked in his presentation on GhanaWeb TV’s entertainment review show ‘Bloggers’ Forum’.
“After that, he posted the same content that I created on his Instagram page, so I also filed a copyright report on Instagram and Instagram removed it. And before Instagram deletes your content, they will ask you for a proof. I haven’t been hitting her on YouTube; she’s the one who’s been hitting me, ”added Jay-Kanz.
The comments come after Joyce Blessing cursed Jay-Kanz for allegedly thwarting her progress despite making and subsequently receiving demands. The singer accused Jay-Kanz of being behind the reason why his content continues to be flagged on YouTube and Instagram and warned him to desist from the act or face the wrath of God.
“Juliana Ntiamoah, that is your name, the way you are going to suffer, it will affect your entire generation. I haven’t done anything wrong to you, everything you asked for has been paid for. This curse will manifest itself to a great extent in your life because I have not done anything wrong to you, but you want to cause me pain … “, he said in the audio.
