According to him, in the run-up to the 2016 elections, then-candidate Akufo-Addo promised to create new regions from existing ones and, true to his word, six (6) new regions have been created, from which the Bono Este Region. It was carved in the ancient Brong Ahafo region.

Citing examples of the policies that have been implemented by the government over the course of the past three and a half years, he stated that most of the promises contained in the 2016 PNP Manifesto have been kept.
