The editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, has criticized minority leader Haruna Iddrisu for comments made on the controversy surrounding the Techiman South parliament results.
According to him, Haruna Iddrisu, as a lawyer, should have known better before questioning whether Ghanaians expected the opposition party to seek electoral redress with “tomatoes and oranges.”

The minority leader in an interview in response to critics demanding that the NDC go to court asked: “Go to court with what? At least give me what you have collected and certified … “
Kweku Baako who was speaking in Peace FM Morning program ‘Kokrokoo‘expressed his disappointment at Haruna Iddrisu’s comment saying: “Ah !!! I don’t expect a lawyer to talk like that …”

Minority march
Members of the NDC Parliament recently embarked on a march to present a petition on the Techiman South 2020 parliamentary poll to the President of the Electoral Commission (EC), Jean Mensah.
They ended up reading his request to the media as there was no EC official to receive it.
According to the Commission, MEPs did not notify the EC in advance.
