Antoine Griezmann’s time in Barcelona has been one of much online conversation and speculation. Also his relationship with Lionel Messi. There’s been a lot of talk that Messi didn’t even want a move from Griezmann last year and has since been frustrated trying to get a seamless connection between the two.
Eric Olhats, Antoine Griezmann’s former adviser, talked a bit about the French period in Barcelona and how Messi sees it.
“Antoine arrived at a club in trouble where Messi has a vision of everything. He is both emperor and monarch, and he did not see Antoine’s arrival with a good eye. His attitude has been deplorable, it made him feel that. I have always heard Antoine say that there is no problem with Messi, but never the other way around.
“In my opinion, Messi said he wanted to leave to see what role he still had as a decision-making player, in terms of the players who came and those who left, but he finally stayed. Classic Messi! As good on the pitch as it was bad off … Barcelona has been suffering for some time. There was cancer in that club, and obviously it leaves some marks ”.

It’s obvious that Griezmann is going through a difficult time at Barcelona right now, but he finally scored his first goal of the season in La Liga at the weekend after a cute Messi doll.
