Government will conduct nation-building updates for the first time on Tuesday, September 22 | General news

The Ministry of Information has announced the launch of Nation Building Updates, a weekly event designed to provide stakeholders and Ghanaians with detailed updates on key government interventions.

A statement signed and issued by Mr. Pius Enam Hadzide, a deputy minister of information, said that the inaugural event will take place on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences at 1700 hours on the theme “Leadership that delivers for the Youth “.

Some of the agencies that will participate in the inaugural event include; the National Youth Authority (NYA), the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), the Nation Builders Corps (NaBCo), the National Small-Scale Industries Board (NBSSI), the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the National Plan for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (NEIP).

Participating agencies will use the platform to report on social interventions in favor of youth that the government is carrying out, including; CAPBUSS under NBSSI, YEA Employment Centers, Presidential Pitch and NEIP’s Green House project, digitization processes at NSS, progression to permanent jobs under NaBCo, and digital marketing and capacity building under the NYA.

The event will be broadcast live on the social media platforms of the Ministry of Information, Ghana television and all the major radio stations in the country.
