Members of the pro-NPP group from across the Region gathered in Buipe to participate in the long-awaited walk.

With banners with inscriptions such as “Tío Stop the Demonstrations” and dressed in all white outfits, the young people walked through some of the main streets of Buipe.

The convener of the walk for peace, Ibrahim Mahafuzu, addressing the media, said that the Savannah Region is known for its peaceful coexistence and that the candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who hails from the Region, it should not be the one to destabilize the peace. enjoyed in the field.

He said former President Mahama should call the president-elect to congratulate him or stop the demonstrations by his supporters and seek justice in court.

Fredrick Tahiru, a member of the NPP 2020 campaign team in the Savannah region, asked the NDC to focus on the 2024 elections instead of crying over spilled milk.
