Ghana international Godfred Donsah has sealed his loan to Turkish side Çaykur Rizespor in the current summer transfer window.
The Bologna midfielder spent the 2019/2020 football season in Belgium with Cercle Brugge of the Pro League.
Although he managed to impress, his parent club in Italy have not included him in their plans for the 2020/2021 football season.
Following successful negotiations, Godfred Donsah has been recruited by Çaykur Rizespor to provide them with the necessary squad boost for the current Super Lig season.
“Çaykur Rizespor signed a loan contract with Godfred Donsah, who played in Bologna, Italy, a Serie A team until the end of the season,
“The 24-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Godfred Donsah, with the signing ceremony held with the participation of our Vice President Ali Zeki Saruhan, signed the contract that connects blue with our colors.
“We welcome Godfred Donsah to our Club and wish him success,” said a statement from the Turkish club today.
Donsah, 24, previously played for Chievo Verona, Cagliari, and also has experience on the national team with his home country.
