Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah said goodbye to Inter Milan.

Asamoah was declared in excess of requirements at the club after failing to overcome his injury situation last season.

And on Monday, the Nerazurri confirmed the departure of the 31-year-old midfielder and defender after mutually agreeing to terminate the remaining year of his contract.

Asamoah took to social media to deliver his final message to the club and its vociferous supporters.

“I want to thank all the staff, the management, my teammates and last but not least all the Interfans, they are great! 👏 Good luck to all #Thanks @inter “

Asamoah joined Intern Milan as a free agent in 2018 and went on to make 40 appearances in the famous black and blue stripes.

The calm-looking star linked up with Sampdoria on the day of the transfer deadline, but the move didn’t go through.

He can still sign for a club even though the transfer window is closed, as he is now a free agent.
