Incredible Zigi
While celebrating his birthday, Ghanaian dancer Incredible Zigi said he was arrested by officers from the Ghana Police Service.
According to the dancer, he was arrested and handcuffed because of his appearance.
Hours before that, the Incredible Zigi, who is watching dreadlocks, had spent time with his friends to celebrate his birthday.
The alleged police profile of the dancer based on his physical appearance is similar to what Nigerians are currently fighting to stop their police from doing at the End SARS protests.
When police arrested Incredible Zigi near the American House in East Legon, he shared posts on his Instagram account to inform his friends.
Hours later, he updated that he had been released, although he also alleged that he had to pay the police to secure his release.
Amazing Zigi, whose real name is Michael Amofa, is credited with creating the popular Kupe Dance.
