President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has assured Nyinahin residents, and indeed all Ghanaians, that the country’s bauxite deposits will be mined for the benefit of all Ghanaians and will not be owned by a single person.
Addressing residents of Nyinahin in the Atwima Mponua constituency on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, the President stated that the Ghana Integrated Bauxite and Aluminum Development Authority will serve as a vehicle for the establishment of an integrated aluminum industry in Ghana.
According to the president, “what we are going to do over the next four years, the people of Nyinahin would be great beneficiaries.”
He added that “bauxite, which would have been owned by one person, would be developed for everyone to benefit. Ghana’s Integrated Bauxite and Aluminum Development Authority will soon be complete for bauxite mining, from which an industrial revolution will emerge to bring money, jobs and development to Nyinahin. “
President Akufo-Addo stressed that the policies and programs implemented by his government, since he took office in 2017, are further proof that the New Patriotic Party has a clear understanding of how to put the country on the path of progress and progress and prosperity.
