Ghana Veterans Administration Celebrates Sick Military Veterans

The Ghana Veterans Administration (VAG) has donated baskets to sick military veterans who are entering the 37th Military Hospital.

Introducing the articles, the association’s executive director, Captain Ben Duah, said it was part of efforts to help his own mark the occasion of Christmas.

Dressed in Santa garb, Captain Duah noted that 35 veterans were budgeted, but some have already been discharged, therefore 12 veterans were the beneficiaries.

He assured the beneficiaries that the administration and the country still have their needs at heart and will support them.

“On this very occasion, which is special in everyone’s life, we decided that since we will not find them at home, we will visit them in the hospital and we will still show them our affection,” he said.

For their part, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to VAG for remembering them during the special occasion.

“I am very grateful, I never thought you would come to visit me. For what you have done, I will pray for you, ”said one.

Another added: “I am very happy that you have come to my aid by giving me this. I appreciate it. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and I pray that this country remains in peace, ”said one.

Some of the beneficiaries are; Colonel Daniel Pumpuni, Captain Kweku Boa-Ampong Sem, Colonel Baba Agotenba, Colonel Atsu Yeber, Colonel Atta Boakye among others.
