Ghanaian international Issah Abass has completed his loan from Mainz 05 to FC Twente for the remainder of the 2020/2021 football season.

The passionate forward who returned to the Bundesliga club last summer after his loan contract with FC Utrecht expired hoped to play a bigger role for the team this season.

Unfortunately, things have not gone entirely well with the Ghanaian under-23 striker constantly overlooked in matches during the first half of the current German Bundesliga season.

Today Issah Abass has been signed by FC Twente to give the team a boost in the Dutch Eredivisie.

“FC Twente have reached an agreement with FSV Mainz 05 on the arrival of Issah Abass in Enschede.

“The 22-year-old Ghanaian striker will be hired from the German club until the end of this season and arrived at De Grolsch Veste today,” read a confirmation statement on the FC Twente website.

The move will make the fast forward enjoy regular play time to ensure it continues to develop.
