Hyundai Motor and Investments Ghana Limited has introduced the new Hyundai KONA subcompact midsize SUV electric vehicle to the Ghana market.
The 2019 Hyundai KONA North American Utility Vehicle of the Year from Korea is available in Ghana with a bold design that retains the winning personality of the model.
The exterior design of the midsize SUV is available with several enhancements that make it even more appealing to customers with active lifestyles.
Characteristics
With the latest all-new KONA available for the first time in Ghana, it combines an all-electric, zero-emission transmission with a sporty appearance.
The KONA EV is characterized by the dynamic characteristics of the front bumper, harmoniously connected and unified with the body-color treatment of the wheel arch linings. The larger and more technical air inlet characteristics are further distinguished by a unique mesh design and surface treatment.
On the sides, body-color coatings and new rocker panels are complemented by the unique 17-inch alloy wheel design.
The interior is available with an exclusive color package on one-tone black leather seats. Additionally, distinctive red stitching, metal pedals, and logo on the gear lever and seats contribute to a sportier look and feel.
Design
The new KONA EV comes with three new exterior colors, including Surfy Blue, Cyber Gray and Phantom Black. All colors can be combined with the Phantom Black two-tone roof.
The two-tone roof also comes with matching mirror caps. This contributes to its sporty and elegant appearance and gives customers more options for personalization and self-expression.
Connectivity and technology
New to this model is a 10.25-inch digital cluster. In addition, the new KONA also comes with an optional 10.25-inch AVN display, which provides new connectivity features.
The new AVN display also comes with a split screen feature and multiple Bluetooth connections.
Also, KONA comes with the latest Blue Drive update, which includes the user profile.
Customers can have a custom user profile equipped with eight-inch Display Audio and DAB radio, wireless Android Auto, and Apple Car Play for convenient wireless connectivity from their phones to the Display Audio system.
Comfort and spaciousness
Several new convenience features also allow for a more comfortable and convenient experience, including second-row seating and a second-row USB port.
The new KONA seats were improved, where passengers in the first row can now also adjust the height of their seats for an optimized position while traveling.
