The Black Stars gaming apparel for this year and next has been officially announced, generating a lot of reaction on social media.

Ghana have unveiled their new uniforms for the 2020-21 soccer season, generating a great deal of reaction on social media.

The new jerseys were designed by German uniform manufacturers Puma, which have been official partners of the West African team since 2005.

The new home kit is largely white, while the away version is largely yellow, with its fair share of black designs on both.

Inter Milan ace Kwadwo Asamoah, Real Mallorca midfielder Iddrisu Baba and Amiens center-back Nicholas Opoku have been spotted in the new kits.

According to a post on Puma’s official website, the new kits are “steeped in tradition and designed for sport.

“Graphics are inspired by the culture of Ghana, with a woven print representing a bright and beautiful future.

“Materials are enhanced with PUMA dryCELL technology for moisture wicking comfort and performance.”

With the away jersey, Ghana moves away from a red base design to a yellow base set that was very popular with the team and with fans in the 1990s and early 2000s.

Ghana will wear the new jersey set for the first time when they face Mali and Qatar in international friendlies on October 9 and 12 respectively.

Ghana fans will have the opportunity to see the Black Stars play in their new uniforms at home for the first time in November, when the team host Sudan in a qualifier for the 2022 African Cup of Nations.
