On Thursday, November 5, 2020, the Ghana Nigeria Business Council (GNBC) relaunched its membership campaign. After 5 years of operation and continuous dialogue with strategic partners, the membership campaign was the next progressive step to ensure that Nigerian and Ghanaian companies are better positioned to take advantage of the services offered by the Council.

The Ghana Nigeria Business Council provides consulting services for Nigerian companies in Ghana while promoting trade for Ghanaians with the partner agency Nigeria Ghana Business Council, located in Lagos, Nigeria.

The membership re-launch event was attended and attended by Mr. Ashong-Lartey from the Ghana Investment Promotion Center, Dr. John Hawkins Asiedu from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Mr. A Tijani from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Foreign Ministry and Mr. Emmanuel Ashley from the Ghana Immigration Service. GNBC board members were present and engaged with all attendees, promoting the idea of ​​bilateral trade and commercial expansion.

GNBC Chairman Reginald Laryea praised the Government of Ghana and their Nigerian counterparts for forging unity between them and encouraged companies to take advantage of the business opportunities that exist between the two countries. And also, he asked the government to support the activities of the GNBC to ensure that the full impact and benefits of the council are felt.

GNBC Executive Secretary Ms. Nadia Takyiwaa-Mensah briefed attendees on available membership packages and mentioned key activities including conferences, trade events, b2b meetings, networking events, etc., to be organized at the next months. Ms. Takyiwaa-Mensah encouraged attendees to register as members so that they can take advantage of all the benefits available from her organization.
