His two substitutes are Atlético de Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey and South Africa goalkeeper Richard Ofori.
Ayew received the bracelet from former coach Kwesi Appiah ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt in a controversial decision that upset then-captain Asamoah Gyan.
A statement on the Ghana FA website read: ” The Senior Team Technical Team, the Black Stars, after extensive consultation, has retained Andre Ayew as the Captain of the Black Stars.
The Swansea City striker who led Ghana to the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, maintains his position as team leader despite changes in the senior team’s technical arena.
