The strong, decisive and dynamic leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has rekindled hope that multi-party democracy in Ghana will take hold and prosper.
Prince Appiah Debrah, the New Patriotic Party (PNP) parliamentary candidate for Korle Klottey, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency on Saturday, said that the path to full development undertaken by the president should not be truncated on December 7. .
Rather, Ghanaians should empower the government to do more, he said, adding: “Ghana cannot back down, the president, vice president and majority leadership in parliament, as well as performance across the public sector, confirm that leadership is a key factor in development. The government led by the PNP has shown good leadership ”.
Mr. Debrah expressed commitment and determination to transform the Korle Klottey constituency and make education accessible to all because no society could achieve meaningful development without quality education.
“My people cannot sit near the river and be thirsty. Access to education is a fundamental human right and I am committed to doing everything humanly possible to implement measures to improve the quality of basic and secondary education in the Circumscription, “he said.
“Korle Klottey cannot be left behind. We deserve better and I’m here to mobilize our people for constituency transformation. ”
“Party members and people in my constituency encouraged me to contest the primaries and remove the current NDC deputy who has failed to develop the area and I will not give up my efforts to win the PNP seat.”
Debrah said empowering youth was another top priority on her calendar and that she would support needy but bright students to access higher education and provide vocational training for those interested in improving their standard of living.
“The people of Korle Klottey know me very well and I can say with great confidence that the spirit of Osu is behind me. We are winning the seat en masse. “
He said the party had established structures to prevent incidents that led to the NPP losing its seat in 2016, adding: “Now all signs and statistics point to a massive victory for the NPP in both the presidential and parliamentary elections on December 7. “.
