The Spurs will be looking tonight to ensure that the best mood in the club is not temporary as they look to capitalize on their blow on Burnley by winning at Craven Cottage.
Despite all of Tottenham’s troubles this season, including five losses out of six before Sunday, Spurs somehow retain hope of making the top four and will be boosted by Gareth Bale’s form of late. , which includes two goals and one assist against Sean Dyche’s team.
However, Fulham is not easy to convince. A 1-1 draw in the previous meeting by the two sides was part of a 13-game streak in which only two losses were seen.
Two victories in their last three mean another tonight will push Fulham out of the relegation zone for the first time in more than two months, putting pressure on embattled Newcastle boss Steve Bruce in the process.

83 minutes: Great opportunity, great save!
Lamela slides a beautiful pass from behind for Kane, who hits the goal for the first time, but Areola is out to block and Lucas Moura can’t turn a difficult opportunity on the rebound.
79 minutesTottenham are having a rare streak in the Fulham half and Erik Lamela, who just entered, has almost regained the season’s assist with a scandalous run down the right, but Reed comes in to deny Kane a touch.

GOAL NOT ALLOWED! | Fulham 0-1 Tottenham
It really is a sham, this rule. Fulham believe they have scored a well-deserved draw, but it was chalked because in preparation the ball hit Lemina’s arm.
The fact is that his arm is to one side and the only reason the ball hits him is because Davinson Sánchez has put it two meters away. Maja reacts and ends well but does not count.
60 minutes: That is also half a chance. Ruben Loftus-Cheek would enter the goal with a better touch but he does not take it off his feet and Sánchez recovers to clear it.
Dan Kilpatrick is at Craven Cottage
There is a worryingly familiar sentiment to this second half from the Spurs, who have been second best since halftime. We have seen this before and we know how it usually ends.
57 minutes: You feel like Fulham has to make this spell count. The Spurs haven’t gotten going since halftime, but you can’t imagine the four forwards staying quiet the rest of the night.
Andersen rises to receive Cavaleiro’s free kick and Lloris helps the header on its way over the bar, before Tosin drives in a direct header at the French from the resulting corner.
