Hearts of Oak Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frederick Moore has resigned.

Joy Sports understands that Mr. Moore, who replaced Mark Noonan last year and is currently on sick leave, will not be returning to his position.

Nearby sources told Joy Sports that Moore said “I think he should go back to office on Monday (Nov 30)” when trying to clarify when he will resume his duties.

We understand that there are some differences between the Board and the Administration. The Board hired former coach Kosta Papic, who many believe will replace Edward Nii Odoom, without the consent of management.

Papic was at the Accra Sports Stadium to watch Hearts defeat Inter Allies 1-0.

Moore made plans to release his role to his close associates following the uproar surrounding the appointment of a manager before the new season began three weeks ago.

Moore, they say, was unaware of the commitment of Manuel Vaz Pinto, who left his role unceremoniously after just a week. Many of these problems culminated in his decision to resign.

More to follow.
