Frank Lampard admits that Chelsea didn’t do enough against Everton, and more so in the first 20 minutes.
The Blues suffered a 1-0 defeat at Goodison Park when Gylfi Sigurdsson’s penalty in the first half gave Carlo Ancelotti’s Toffees all three points, and Chelsea lost an opportunity to go to the top of the Premier League as Outcome.
A win would have brought the Blues to the top of the division once again, but despite hitting the wood twice, Chelsea rarely bothered Jordan Pickford in Everton’s goal.
And Lampard admitted that Chelsea were below average in Merseyside, suffering a first league loss since losing to champions Liverpool in September.

“Not at our best. The first 20 minutes were key for me, “he said. talking to BT Sport.

“And when you go 1-0 to Everton, it absolutely fits with their game plan to make things difficult for us and they did very well. And we didn’t have enough. “We don’t show enough for what we can do and the guys are devastated because we’ve had a good run, and we know what we can do and if we play well, play our best here, we can get a result.
