Baroka FC President Khurishi Mphahlele has confirmed that young Ghanaian Richmond Antwi has arrived at the club ahead of a permanent move.

But the 19-year-old must convince the South African second division technical team led by new manager Thoka Matsimel.

“It’s true it’s here, but we’re still looking at it,” Mphahlele told KickOff.com. “We’re still looking at him. We’ll see if what they say about him is true or what.”

“It came on Friday. The club I was playing for are the league champions of Sudan.

” He scored a lot of goals there. Let’s check it out very well.

Mphalele added: “We are not in a rush to sign him, now we have experience in this football.

” First we are going to satisfy ourselves. He has not started training yet, he will start training next week. “

Antwi was the top scorer in the 2018/19 Sudanese Premier League with 19 goals when he was on Al Khartoum Watani’s roster.

He later joined Al Merrikh midway through the 2019/20 season.

Their seven goals in 13 games helped them win the Sudanese Premier League title.
