Former North Carolina President Dr. Kofi Amoah sends good wishes to the GFA Executive Council

Former Chairman of the GFA Standards Committee, Dr. Kofi Amoah has sent good wishes to the current Chairman and Executive Board on the occasion of their first anniversary.

Dr. Amoah and the Standards Committee, which included lawyer Naa Odofoley Nortey and former Ghana international Samuel Osei Kuffour, were handed over to the Kurt ES Okraku-led administration after the GFA elections held on October 25. 2019 at the College of Physicians and Surgeons.

In a letter sent to the Secretary General of the GFA, the Chairman of the former Committee for Standardization stated that:

“On the anniversary of the handover of soccer administration from the Standards committee to a new president and the new GFA executive council, I, Dr. Kofi Amoah, along with my colleagues in North Carolina, wish soccer the best. from Ghana.

“We are confident that the new administration will lead Ghana’s soccer affairs to greater success. Thank you”.

Following investigative documentary number 12, FIFA appointed a Standardization Committee on August 27, 2018 to manage the daily affairs of the GFA and review the statutes of the GFA.

As part of its mandate, the NC was tasked with organizing and holding elections for a GFA executive committee based on the revised GFA statutes.

After the successful adoption of the new GFA statutes on September 5, 2019, the NC proceeded with its electoral roadmap culminating in the election of Mr. Kurt ES Okraku and 11 members of the Executive Council.
