Stonebwoy drew a gun after Shatta Wale stormed the stage with his militants

The 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards culminated in many controversies that even led to an ongoing court case.
The turmoil started when Stonebwoy was crowned 2019 Reggae Dancehall Artist of the Year. Shatta Wale and her militants took the stage as Stonebwoy was about to receive his award.
Fearing what might happen, Stonebwoy quickly drew a weapon.
Security officers at the Dome pepper-sprayed award patrons and guests at the VIP booth rushed out.
The show was temporarily suspended amid the chaos at the Dome, prompting several patrons to leave the auditorium with the onset of chaos.
It is important to note that Stonebwoy has consistently won Reggae Dancehall Artist of the Year for 5 years in a row.
Meanwhile, the second day of the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will take place tonight at 8pm at the Accra International Conference Center.
