First Lady elects southern Ablekuma constituency for PNP

The First Lady, Ms. Rebecca Akufo-Addo, has toured the Ablekuman South constituency in the Greater Accra region to gather support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

She interacted with merchants at the Tuesday market near Mamprobi, and the chiefs and people of Chorkor, urging them to retain President Akufo-Addo in power and also to vote for the PNP parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma South, the Mr. Bernard Nii Anyaa Brown.

Ms. Akufo-Addo called on Chorkor voters to examine the track record of the PNP and the many good programs, such as Free Senior High School for All Children, as well as the new drop-out loan system. the SHS to access tertiary education.

He said President Akufo-Addo “holds Ghana in high esteem and believes in the prosperity of its citizens,” so it is necessary to give him another mandate for further development.

He counted the many initiatives, such as the Planting for Food and Jobs program, which had helped address food shortages, One Constituency, One Ambulance, One Village One Dam and many more that were being implemented, as unprecedented programs.

He said the One District One Factory initiative, which was ongoing in many districts, was also providing jobs for people, adding that the NABCO program had put many young people into jobs.

The First Lady assured the Chorkor fishermen that the outboard motor shortage problems would be addressed shortly.

At the Tuesday market, Ms. Akufo-Addo thanked the traders for supporting the PNP in the last elections, urging them to vote en masse for the PNP in the December elections to consolidate the achievements made so far.

He assured traders that his new market complex would be completed soon and urged them to ignore the rumor that was circulating that the market was going to be sold to a Chinese entity.

Mr. Anyaa Brown, the parliamentary candidate for the Area, appealed to the constituents to vote him as a member of Parliament so that he could champion his cause.

Jerry Ahmed Shaib, executive director of the Coastal Development Authority, said the government will continue to address the population’s fishing problems, including that of premixed fuels, and that landing beaches will be improved.
