The New Patriotic Party (PNP) parliamentary candidate for Ningo-Prampram, Mr. Alex Martey, has expressed his gratitude to First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo for donating a vehicle to help her campaign.

Martey, a first-time contender, told the Ghana News Agency that the Mahindra Maxitruck arrived at the right time as the campaign was getting intense with the December 7 general election approaching.

He noted that the donation is part of the many promises that the First Lady, who happens to be a native of the constituency, has fulfilled regarding her offer to hand over the Ningo-Prampram seat to the PNP.

He assured that the car would be used well, especially for the campaign activities of the Ningo-Prampram Chapter of Loyalty of Ladies.

The PNP parliamentary candidate promised that he would deliver a resounding victory to the party to glorify the First Lady for her gesture and support.

The keys and documents of the vehicle were handed over to Mr. Martey by Mr. Alfred Boye, former president of the Greater Accra Regional Nuclear Power Plant, on behalf of the First Lady.

In another development, the candidate, along with a large following, embarked on a campaign walk from Mataheko to Afienya on Sunday.
