The two-time Ghana Premier League champions will smile on the bench after winning their lawsuit filed against the Tunisian first division team.

FIFA has caused Club Africain to pay more than $ 120,000 to Aduana Stars on the unpaid transfer fee of its former striker Derrick Sasraku.

The governing body of world soccer ordered the Tunisian giants to pay $ 120,000 (plus interest) to the Dormaa-based club after failing to settle the deadly poacher’s transfer fee.

Aduana Stars transferred their key striker Derrick Sasraku to the Tunisian club with a transfer fee of $ 120,000, but the rojiblancos boys refused to pay the agreed fee.

Under the agreement between the two clubs, Club Africain had to settle the transfer fee in two installments: US $ 60,000 upon receipt of the International Transfer Certificate (ITC) on August 26 and the same amount on November 11, 2018.

But the North African club refused to pay the $ 120,000 to Aduana Stars after several attempts by the club through the Ghana Football Association.

The Dormaa-based club decided to drag Club Africain into FIFA through CLOSEmarking Consult (CMC) led by Ashford Tettey-Oku.

The Africain Club has been given a 45-day period to make the initial $ 60,000 payment plus five percent annual interest from August 26, 2018 to September 3, 2020.

The Tunisian club will also pay US $ 60,000 plus five percent annual interest from November 16, 2018 to September 3, 2020, covering the second tranche.

In addition, the Club Africain must pay CHF 3,000 to FIFA as the final cost of the procedure.

The Tunisian club could face a transfer ban (both local and international) for a maximum duration of three consecutive registration periods if it does not comply.

In May 2020, the Africain Club was asked to pay Derrick Sasraku $ 140,000 for the improper termination of the contract.
