FC Goa 2-2 Mumbai City FC: Player Ranking When Semifinal First Leg Ends Draw ISL 2020-21 – Latest Ghana Soccer News, Live Scores, Results

[ad_1]

Mumbai City FC and FC Goa played an entertaining 2-2 draw in the first leg of the ISL semi-final on Friday. While Igor Angulo and Savior Gama scored for FC Goa, Hugo Boumous and Moutrás Fall found the back of the net for Mumbai City FC, who twice restored parity in the game.

This is how the players did that day.

Dheeraj Singh – 5.5 / 10

Dheeraj commanded his defense well, but could have done nothing to prevent the two goals.

Seriton Fernandes – 6/10

Seriton, who faced the pace and wiles of the Mumbai City FC forwards, stood his ground and did well that day.

James Donachie – 6/10

Barring a lack of focus by failing to score the knockdown of Mouinada for Mumbai City FC’s second goal, Donachie remained cool throughout the match.

Adil Khan – 5.5 / 10

As was the case with Donachie, Khan could have been more vigilant to prevent Fall from making it 2-2.

Salvador Gama – 7/10

Gama’s shot from outside the area made it 2-1 for FC Goa in the 59th minute, but his goal was disallowed by Mumbai City FC just two minutes later. Overall, Gama proved his worth to his team on Friday.

Edu Bedia – 6.5 / 10

Though busy and hardworking as ever, Bedia lacked that killer final ball for attackers up front.

Glan Martins – 6/10

Glan Martins perfectly executed his role as a midfield disruptor. FC Goa would be happy with the effort you put in.

Alexander Jesuraj – 6.5 / 10

Jesuraj worked hard throughout the match and was efficient in countering Mumbai City FC players when necessary.

Princeton Rebello – 6/10

Rebello used his rhythm and tricks to frequently beat the Mumbai City FC wingers. But more importantly, he was lucky enough to escape without any serious injury when he was tackled harshly by Mouinada Fall in the later stages of the match.

Jorge Ortiz – 6.5 / 10

Although Ortiz did not have the desired impact, he was busy and hardworking throughout the game.

Igor Angulo – 6,510

Angulo showed great composure to step up and dispatch his penalty with ease to break the deadlock. At times it was a handful for the Mumbai City FC defenders.

Amrinder Singh – 6/10

Amrinder ideally should have done better to save Savior Gama’s blow from outside the area. Other than that, he did little wrong throughout the game.

Send Rao Desai – 5.5 / 10

Mandar had a poor start and even conceded a penalty in the first half, with Igor Angulo converting the resulting penalty.

Autumn Mouinada – 6/10

Fall, who scored Mumbai City FC’s second goal, was extremely lucky to escape a direct red card for his reckless defiance at Princeton Rebello late in the game. The incident greatly overshadowed his contributions throughout the match.

Mehtab Singh – 7/10

Replacing Hernan Santana, Mehtab Singh did an excellent job organizing the defense. He made several interceptions that were crucial for Mumbai City FC not conceding more than two goals.

Vignesh Dakshinamurthy – 6/10

Vignesh’s pass was a bit off the mark, as he gave up the ball on numerous occasions.

Raynier Fernandes – 6.5 / 10

Fernandes gave it his all as usual, and if he had added a little precision to the passes he played in the final third it would have been an even better outing for him.

Ahmed Jahouh – 6.5 / 10

Ahmed Jahouh put on a show against FC Goa. The passes he threw with ease were essential to the way Mumbai City FC played that day.

Hugo Boumous – 7/10

Boumous showed why it was not a mistake to include him in the starting lineup when he scored Mumbai City FC’s first draw.

Bipin Singh-6.5 / 10

Bipin was a hard worker throughout the match and justified his inclusion by winning several balls high up on the pitch to initiate the Mumbai City FC attacks.

Adam Le Fondre – 6/10

Le Fondre put on one of their strongest performances of the season on Friday. He is owed a goal and there will be no better time for it to arrive than in the semi-final second leg.

Bartolomé Ogbeche – 6.5 / 10

Ogbeche’s touch disappointed him on a few occasions against FC Goa. While he was dominant in the air, the Nigerian should have done better overall.
